I have renamed the folder on my computer that has any of the Quicken data files to a completelyĭifferent name so that it couldn't be found during the reinstall of program and imported the old file once the system was installed and running with very little luck. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Quicken 2015 several times, even going so far as to ensure that there is nothing in the registry that pertains to this program.
I save my files on a thumb drive for easy transportation between computers and before you ask, my wife has a different brand computer with Windows 8.1 with Quicken 2015 for business installed on it and has the same problems.
